Use of dye in injection training
I have seen discussions about the use of different dyes (flourescein, Evans Blue, food coloring, etc) to confirm injection technique when training IV, RO, or other parenteral injection methods in mice and rats. I am interested in implementing this in my training program but will need to obtain approval first. If anyone has experience in this I am interested in SOPs or any published papers/posters I can use a reference document when adding this to our animal use protocol. I would prefer methods/dyes that do not require the euthanasia of the animals.
