Hello Everyone, With these new low flow isoflurane anesthesia systems entering the market that can run using 100% O2 or room air, I was curious what other facilities that have these systems are requiring for their surgeries? I have heard some facilities allowing all surgeries to be done with room air, some are requiring the use of O2 for any surgery over 30 minutes, and some facilities still requiring O2 for all surgeries. If you are at a facility that has Isoflurane systems that can run O2 and room air, what is your current policy/guidelines around its use?
