Speaker Bio:
Dr. Diego Celdran is a laboratory animal veterinarian and Diplomate of the European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ECLAM). He serves as Associate Director of University Animal Care at the University of Arizona, where he also directs the Rodent Surgery and Anesthesia Training Program. He holds research and teaching appointments in the College of Medicine and the College of Veterinary Medicine. His research and professional interests include lab animal surgery and anesthesia, laboratory animal science training and competency assessment, and the application of new technologies to advance the 3Rs.
